Job Title: Marketing Manager
Job Summary: The overall goal of the Marketing Manager is to support the company in winning new work, while promoting and enhancing client relationships and the company’s image. The Marketing Manager uses discretion and independent judgment to assist management in the general business operations of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Use discretion and independent judgment and professional skills to perform daily duties and resolve issues.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Alston Construction’s services and capabilities, and those of competitors.
Develop professional project pursuit documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and Statements of Qualification.
Oversee the development, production, and distribution of marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, boilerplates, staff resumes/qualifications, project experience summaries, client references, and site signage.
Partner with VP/GMs and SVPs to develop and execute their individual Marketing Plans.
Conduct research on market trends, client needs, and competitors, and recommend strategies to generate new clients and win profitable business.
Manage a centralized system for storage and retrieval of client and marketing information, and develop customer communications such as newsletters and corporate communications in coordination with the Marketing Director.
Plan and coordinate trade show/convention participation, and manage submissions for industry award and building competition entries.
Other related duties.
Education, Experience, and Licensing/Certifications include:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Good knowledge of the construction industry, including design-build general contracting, and the local construction market.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign or similar graphic design software; Prezi experience preferred.
