Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Standardization (QHSE&S) Manager

TERNA ENERGY, a member of the MASDAR Group, is seeking:
Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Standardization (QHSE&S) Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and embed a strong Health, Safety and Environmental culture at all levels of the organization.
Ensure compliance through audits, inspections, monitoring activities, and coordination with external certification bodies.
Coordinate training, awareness programs, and communication initiatives to strengthen QHSE&S competencies across the organization.
Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal teams to achieve QHSE&S objectives.
Lead and drive the development and implementation of integrated management systems (such as ISO 9001 and EMAS) across the organization.
Provide guidance on environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and related compliance requirements.
Support strategic decision-making through data analysis, risk assessment, and performance reporting on QHSE&S matters.
Monitor industry best practices and emerging trends, recommending improvements to enhance sustainability and operational excellence.
Requirements:
University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
7–10+ years of extensive experience in QHSE&S, including significant leadership responsibility in energy, infrastructure, or industrial environments.
Proven experience in developing and implementing management systems (ISO 9001, EMAS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Experience in audits, inspections, compliance monitoring, and working with certification bodies.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel and work across various project sites as required.
