Manufacturing Specialist Technician

Position Summary:
As a Manufacturing Specialist Technician, you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Essential Functions:
Performs duties associated with production (milling or turning), including set-up and changeovers
Serve as technical subject matter expert within cell on relevant machinery/processes
Works with Engineers and Programmers to conduct tool tests, First Article Inspection (FAI)s, process improvements, optimal sequences
Trains production operators to maintain functioning cross-training matrix
Calibrates and maintains gauge schedule to ensure consistency and efficient productivity of machines
Troubleshoots and repairs machinery problems as authorized
Supports tasks associated with establishing priorities and monitoring the cell output
Supports new product development
Performs other duties as assigned
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications:
Proficient understanding in programs and set-ups for medium to difficult programs
Ability to start machine controls and G&M code programming
Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
Requires High school diploma or GED
Preferred completion of a Technical certificate in Machining
