Job Purpose
The Hydraulics Design & Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, integration, validation, and release of hydraulic systems for Agricultural equipment platforms. The role involves hydraulic system design support, component sizing and selection, hose and tube routing, vehicle packaging, and integration while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality, cost, timing, and performance targets.
As part of the CNH ITC Hydraulic Engineering Team, the engineer will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technical specialists to support new product development, product enhancement, cost optimization, and quality improvement initiatives. The position requires strong hydraulic engineering expertise, hands-on CAD proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a global product development environment.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will have responsibility for the following within a hydraulic team
Receive and understand hydraulic system requirements and design inputs from system/unit engineers and develop hydraulic systems / subsystems that meet vehicle performance, reliability, quality, and cost objectives.
Should possess thorough knowledge of hydraulic design calculations, system analysis, and sizing/selection of pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators, filters, hoses, tubes, fittings, adapters, and connectors as per requirement.
Create vehicle-specific 3D hydraulic layouts using Creo, and TcAE within the vehicle master model environment, adhering to routing standards, workflows, baseline, and release processes. Support vehicle architecture and packaging activities for major hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, tanks, and manifolds etc.
Design and optimize hydraulic routing, including hoses, pipes, adapters, connectors, and brackets using Creo Pro piping, ensuring compliance with performance, manufacturability, serviceability, reliability, and packaging requirements.
Analyze design requirements and implement necessary modifications to hydraulic routing and piping designs.
Create 2D drawings for hydraulic circuits, hoses, tubes, pipes, and related components in accordance with CNH drawing standards.
Manage design data, documentation, and engineering releases through Teamcenter on a regular basis, ensuring configuration control and process compliance.
Collaborate closely with respective system engineers based on the need for design solutions. Support prototype builds, testing, validation activities, and root cause analysis of hydraulic system and integration issues.
Work effectively in a global engineering environment, partnering with teams across Product Engineering, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Validation, Prototype Shop, and Suppliers.
Create design standards and implement best practices to drive standardization across platforms.

Experience Required
8-12 years of experience in hydraulic design and integration for Agricultural, Construction, or Off-Highway equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic system design, component sizing, and selection.
Good understanding of hydraulic hoses, tubes, fittings, routing, and related manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Creo, Team center, Pro-Piping, , 3D Modeling, and Sheet Metal Design; knowledge of GD&T, Tol stack up, and Viz Mockup is preferred.
Familiarity with FEA, FMEA, DOE, DFA/DFM, DVP&R, and product validation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Education- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent
