Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Gurugram. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, review, and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and product teams to understand requirements, identifying defects, documenting issues, and verifying fixes to ensure high-quality releases. The role involves maintaining test documentation, participating in regression and integration testing, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a clear understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Test Execution across different types of applications and platforms.
Candidates should possess the ability to design, review, and maintain detailed Test Cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including defect identification, root-cause analysis, and clear documentation.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with engineering, product, and management teams.
Experience with bug-tracking tools, version control, and basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
