JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer — React Native to help build and evolve a high-quality mobile product alongside the client’s existing team.
You’ll use React Native, Expo, ReactJS, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, balancing speed, quality, scalability, and efficiency throughout the delivery process.
The product’s user base is primarily on iPhone and iPad, making strong iOS experience highly valuable. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems with technology, enjoy collaborative technical discussions, and thrive in autonomous, ownership-driven environments, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Build seamless mobile experiences with a strong focus on iOS while supporting Android when required.
• Collaborate with the client’s technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and translate business needs into effective solutions.
• Work on web platform features using ReactJS, Next.js, and TypeScript, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, working closely with back-end teams to support mobile and web integrations.
• Work with PostgreSQL and support reliable data integrations across the product ecosystem.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes.
• Implement best practices for security, usability, testing, and code maintainability in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, UI/UX considerations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across mobile and web applications.
• Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes to ensure code quality.
• Adapt to evolving priorities and collaborate effectively within a small, autonomous team.
REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Senior-level proficiency with React Native, Expo, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
• Experience building high-performance, intuitive, and engaging mobile user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, not only feature implementation.
• Experience with frontend frameworks, state management, design systems, and frontend security standards.
• Experience contributing to APIs and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern SaaS distributed architectures in public cloud environments.
• Knowledge of information security, defensive programming, testing, and maintainable coding practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
