The Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to support electrical engineering activities, technical reviews, quality assurance, and project improvement initiatives. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to a technically capable professional who can combine engineering knowledge with analytical thinking, quality awareness, and effective stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Support electrical engineering activities, technical reviews, and project requirements.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
Coordinate quality activities across engineering and project teams.
Monitor project deliverables against established technical and quality requirements.
Support inspections, testing, verification, and quality-control activities where applicable.
Identify technical issues, quality gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Investigate non-conformities and coordinate practical corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate engineering, inspection, quality, and project records.
Provide technical recommendations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, quality engineering, project engineering, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and quality management practices.
Knowledge of engineering documentation, technical specifications, testing, inspection, and verification.
Familiarity with quality-control processes, process improvement, and issue resolution.
Proficiency in reviewing technical information and identifying discrepancies or potential risks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to technical detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engineering and quality priorities within a remote environment.
Strong organization, professional judgment, teamwork, and commitment to technical quality.
