Position: Shipping Operator
Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
Pay: $21.00/hr

What you’ll be contributing:
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Coordinating truck deliveries
Load customer trucks and arrange for delivery of product
Generate bills of lading for truck loading
Assist the Shipping Supervisor with day to day office activities and other special projects
Monitor the load out of product to customers
Daily reconciliation of shipping reports
Physcially maintain and repair equipment and facilities through preventative maintenance and work in conjunction with the Maintenance and Electrical personnel
Perform minor repairs to load out equipment to ensure proper loading
Practice and observe that the terminal is in compliance with safety and environmental standards
Perform duties to ensure proper appearance of facility, including, general cleanliness, landscaping and janitorial duties
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor .
To succeed in this position, you will need:
High school graduation or equivalent is required
1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, skills, abilities, and experience.
Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. Willingness to learn, training will be provided
