Role Description The Application Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing technical solutions for customers and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing user requirements, providing technical support on applications and systems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure reliable performance. The role involves collaborating with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate and test solutions, document configurations, and develop improvements. The Application Engineer will prepare technical documentation, participate in testing and validation activities, and communicate clearly with non-technical and technical audiences. This role requires proactive problem-solving, effective time management in a remote setting, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with distributed teams.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, customer communication, and problem resolution.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, such as basic programming, understanding of application lifecycles, and collaboration with development teams.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including familiarity with circuits, control systems, or embedded applications.
Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills, including understanding of mechanical systems, components, and integration with applications.
Candidates should possess Testing skills, including test planning, execution, documentation, and reporting of results.
Relevant qualifications may include a degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
