Guidewire QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, rating, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Guidewire applications.
Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
Validate end-to-end P&C insurance processes including:
Quote-to-Bind
Policy issuance
Billing and payments
Renewals
Policy changes
Cancellations
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, architecture/design documents, and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Execute manual test cases and ensure complete test coverage.
Perform API testing and validate integrations between Guidewire and downstream/upstream systems.
Write and execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
Ensure defects and functional gaps do not leak into higher environments.
Participate in requirement, design, test-case, and defect review meetings.
Follow defined SDLC, QA processes, testing methodologies, quality standards, and best practices.
Independently manage testing activities and communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project SPOC.
Support test process management and ensure adherence to project testing guidelines.
