Position Summary:
The SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Analyst III is responsible for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) configuration and support within an SAP S/4HANA environment. EAM and Plant Maintenance are a single SAP solution area; this position covers the technical-object and asset-accountability side of that area — asset structuring, asset master data, and the lifecycle processes that connect physical asset accountability to property, plant, and equipment accounting — while the Plant Maintenance positions cover maintenance planning and work management, in support of a large-scale, greenfield SAP S/4HANA financial management modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) organization. The analyst independently owns assigned asset management configuration scope, leads workshops for that scope, and resolves moderately complex issues spanning asset structure, asset accounting, and maintenance execution. This position operates at Level III of the C5MI job architecture and contributes to delivery across a five-gate milestone structure spanning pre-design approval, preliminary design review, critical design review, production readiness review, and closeout.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Configures and owns assigned enterprise asset management scope, including functional location hierarchies, structure indicators, equipment master configuration, and technical object classification.
Designs asset structuring approaches that support both maintenance execution and financial accountability reporting for assigned asset classes.
Configures the integration between technical objects and the fixed asset subledger, supporting asset acquisition, transfer, retirement, and disposal transactions.
Supports design of construction-in-progress accumulation and settlement from projects and investment measures into fixed assets.
Configures measuring points, counters, and the data capture approach supporting condition and usage-based asset processes.
Owns integration design between technical object structures, materials management, maintenance execution, project systems, and asset accounting for assigned scope.
Handles moderately complex configuration and design work with minimal oversight, exercising judgment within established program design practices.
Leads requirements gathering sessions and fit-to-standard workshops for assigned scope and documents the resulting functional designs and configuration rationale.
Owns assigned deliverables end to end, including design, configuration, documentation, test execution, and defect resolution across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
