Global Banking & Markets - Transaction Banking - Channels Product API Analyst - Dallas

We're a team of Treasury, Payments, and Technology specialists helping our clients build for the future. The Programmatic Channels team owns the connectivity layer between corporate clients and the bank, including APIs, file transmission, messaging rails, and the canonical services that transform diverse client formats into standardized, machine-readable payment instructions.
As the Product Manager Analyst - API, you'll work closely with product managers, engineers, implementation teams, and commercial partners to support the delivery of our API. You'll help improve how clients integrate with Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking APIs by supporting developer documentation, implementation guidance, and product enhancements for our APIs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in APIs, the developer experience, and wants to build a foundation in product management.
Responsibilities
Help maintain and improve the developer-facing documentation for our API
Analyze client feedback, adoption metrics, and implementation trends to identify opportunities to improve the developer experience across the API.
Support clients and internal teams in understanding API capabilities
Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements, user stories, and feature requests for APIs
Participate in testing and validation activities for new APIs, connectivity enhancements, and payment channel capabilities.
Partner with engineering, implementation, servicing, and commercial teams to support successful product launches and client onboarding initiatives.
Monitor industry trends across APIs, open banking, developer tooling, AI-enabled development workflows, and payments innovation to help inform future product enhancements.
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in technology, fintech, payments, banking, consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of APIs and developer platforms, including concepts such as REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI specifications, SDKs
Experience using frontend development tools and design applications like Figma, Framer, Retool, or similar design tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, intuitive documentation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Interest in learning payments, treasury management, and financial technology concepts.
