Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nellore for a SAP Materials Management Consultant. The consultant will manage and optimize SAP MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data to support efficient operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining SAP MM and related modules, troubleshooting system issues, supporting end users, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as procurement, warehousing, and finance. The role involves analyzing business requirements, proposing process improvements, documenting configurations, and participating in testing and deployment of new functionalities. The consultant will also help ensure data accuracy, compliance with company policies, and alignment of SAP processes with the organization’s supply chain and production needs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and Materials Management skills to handle procurement, inventory, and material master data.
Candidates should possess SAP Warehouse Management skills to support storage, stock handling, and integration with MM processes.
Candidates should possess Business Process and Analytical Skills to map requirements, optimize workflows, and interpret data for decision-making.
Relevant experience with SAP implementation, configuration, and support in manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical/herbal industries is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and testing are required.
Experience in end-user training, change management, and basic knowledge of related SAP modules (such as SD, FI, or PP) will be an advantage.
