Learning + Development Intern

Job Description:
Note: This internship is for Summer 2027.
Your role as a Human Resource L+D Intern
This internship will be focused on Learning & Development within the Human Capital team.
Gain on-the-job experience in Learning & Development through hands-on, project-based assignments.
Translate concepts learned in the classroom into real-world learning solutions.
Gain exposure to other areas of Human Capital and the business and learn how Learning & Development supports the organization.
Support the design, development, and maintenance of employee and leadership learning resources.
Gain hands-on experience with Learning & Development projects that may include:
Creating or updating online learning modules using tools such as Articulate 360.
Updating and enhancing existing learning content, including PowerPoint presentations, facilitator materials, participant resources, and other training tools.
Reviewing and updating resources within the Harris Leadership Toolkit.
Supporting the administration of learning in Workday Learning, including course information, assignments, completions, and learning records.
Assisting with learning data, registration, reporting, and assessments.
Researching learning topics, tools, and best practices to support current and future L&D initiatives.
What we are looking for in you
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Marketing, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in Learning & Development and enthusiasm for creating engaging learning experiences.
Comfortable learning and working with technology; experience with learning management systems or eLearning development tools is a plus but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn new tools and approaches.

Pay Range:
$19.42 - $29.14
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
