Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar).
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc. ), and automation for deployment and monitoring.
Lead by example with hands-on engineering, designing solutions, reviewing code, and driving best practices for reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues, participating in on-call rotations as needed.
Collaborate with application engineering and security teams to improve service reliability, observability, and operational processes.
Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools or processes to improve DevOps efficiency and platform health.
Share knowledge through code reviews, documentation, and occasional mentoring of junior team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering (strong senior IC track record, not managerial).
Expert in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
Proficient in writing automation and infrastructure code (Python, Go, Shell, Terraform, etc. ).
Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools (e. g., Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
Deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals, networking, and security in cloud-native environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and operational rigor.
