Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Autocad Drafter role based in Thane. The Autocad Drafter will prepare detailed technical drawings, including architectural layouts and shop drawings, based on design specifications and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and revising CAD drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy, maintaining drawing standards, and coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers. The role also involves reviewing plans for completeness, organizing drawing files, and supporting documentation needed for construction and fabrication. The Autocad Drafter is expected to meet project deadlines, follow company drafting procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of drawing quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for engineering and construction projects.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing Shop Drawings for fabrication and installation workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in developing accurate Architectural Drawings that align with design intent and building standards.
Candidates should possess an understanding of Architecture concepts to interpret and translate design inputs into clear CAD documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and familiarity with industry drafting standards.
Diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, architectural drafting, or a related technical field.
Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans, and effective communication skills.
Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
