QS & Billing Engineer

Role Description The QS & Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying quantities, BOQs, and cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects. Day-to-day activities include performing detailed rate analysis, validating contractor bills, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring accurate entries in billing systems. The role also involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to resolve quantity and billing discrepancies, maintain documentation, and support audits. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, requiring regular presence at project sites and the head office to support smooth project execution and financial control.
Qualifications
Strong Quantity Surveying skills, including preparation and verification of BOQ and project quantities.
Knowledge of Rate Analysis and cost estimation for civil, structural, and finishing works.
Experience working with Billing Systems and processes for contractor billing and client invoicing.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying variances, and supporting cost control.
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS/billing software; familiarity with construction drawings.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in real estate in QS or billing-focused role is preferred.
