Lead MDM Developer – Syndigo MDM

Location: Offshore Remote (US Business Hours)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead MDM Developer with strong expertise in Syndigo MDM (formerly Riversand MDM) to support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives for a US-based client. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in MDM development, integrations, data governance, and enterprise data architecture while collaborating with distributed offshore and onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and support activities on Syndigo MDM (formerly Riversand MDM).
Configure and customize workflows, business rules, taxonomy, hierarchies, and data models.
Develop and support integrations with ERP, CRM, Data Lakes, and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
Work closely with business analysts, architects, functional teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable MDM solutions.
Support data governance, data quality, stewardship, and master data management initiatives.
Participate in architecture discussions related to MDM, Data Warehousing, and cloud integrations.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Review technical deliverables and ensure adherence to best practices and enterprise standards.
Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore teams during US business hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Syndigo MDM / Riversand MDM platform.
Experience in:
MDM implementation and configuration
Workflow and business rule development
Taxonomy and hierarchy management
Data governance and stewardship
Strong API integration experience using REST and SOAP services.
Experience integrating MDM platforms with ERP, CRM, cloud, and enterprise systems.
Good understanding of:
Data Warehousing
Data Modeling
Data Governance
Data Quality
Data Security
Strong SQL and database management skills.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to Data Lakes or Data Vault concepts is an advantage.
Prior experience supporting US-based enterprise clients preferred.
Work Schedule
Offshore remote role requiring overlap with US business hours.
Candidate should be comfortable collaborating with distributed global teams.
