AWS Devops Lead

Key Responsibilities:
Lead AWS DevOps initiatives across build, release, deployment, and operations for multiple environments.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, automated, and repeatable deployments.
Drive Infrastructure as Code practices to provision and manage AWS resources reliably and at scale.
Establish operational best practices for monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
Partner with development teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and increase release quality.
Ensure security and compliance controls are embedded into pipelines and cloud operations (DevSecOps mindset).
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive automation and fixes.
Mentor team members, conduct reviews for pipeline/IaC changes, and promote standards and reusable templates. Minimum Qualifications:
5–9 years of overall experience with strong, hands-on focus in AWS DevOps and cloud operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BTECH/BCA/MCA/MTECH) or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for production-grade applications.
Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud networking basics, IAM/security fundamentals, and deployment strategies.
Experience supporting production environments with monitoring, incident handling, and reliability improvements. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing advanced CI/CD patterns such as blue-green/canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management to standardize environments.
Experience with containerization and orchestration for cloud-native deployments on AWS.
Ability to define DevOps KPIs (deployment frequency, MTTR, change failure rate) and drive measurable improvements.
Experience collaborating with security teams to integrate vulnerability scanning, policy checks, and secrets management into CI/CD.
Prior experience leading/mentoring DevOps engineers and driving cross-team alignment on release and operational processes.
