Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Lead the charge in delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care on our Progressive Care Unit. You'll harness the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to craft individualized care plans, guide your team, and empower patients and families with the knowledge they need. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Champion quality patient care by conducting thorough assessments and developing evidence-based nursing care plans that drive positive health outcomes
Lead, delegate, and supervise nursing care activities while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and compassionate patient interaction
Foster open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless coordination of care
Document patient care and patient education thoroughly, creating a clear clinical narrative that supports continuity of care
Identify variances from patient goals and take ownership in implementing innovative solutions that enhance patient recovery and satisfaction
Mentor and support team members in delivering patient-centered care that reflects our commitment to excellence
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program preferred.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and strong analytical capabilities for developing and implementing effective nursing care plans.
Proficiency in delivering comprehensive professional nursing services across diverse and complex clinical scenarios.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare personnel.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current, active licensure from the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Healthcare Provider Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
