To strengthen our Configuration Management activities, we are looking for an experienced Configuration Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in Hamburg, Germany.
In this role, you will support Configuration Management activities within an Airbus wide-body environment, with a primary focus on A330 and A350 cabin configuration and customization.
You will work on cabin-related parameters and out-of-catalogue options throughout the customization process, coordinating studies, stakeholders and validation activities.
Your focus will be on investigating configuration topics, consolidating study results, organizing stakeholder discussions and presenting findings to the Custo Board for validation.
The position offers a high degree of autonomy and requires close collaboration with international teams.
Your responsibilities
Support Configuration Management activities for Airbus A330 and A350 wide-body aircraft
Work primarily on cabin-related parameters within the customization process
Coordinate and investigate out-of-catalogue cabin options
Consolidate study results and relevant stakeholder inputs
Organize stakeholder meetings and follow-up discussions
Coordinate open topics and ensure agreed actions are followed through
Prepare and present study findings to the Custo Board for validation
Work with international stakeholders involved in cabin configuration and customization
Manage assigned configuration topics independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team
Requirements
Required:
2-5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry
Experience in Airbus Configuration Management is preferred
Great understanding of Airbus wide-body aircraft, particularly A330 and A350
Strong grasp of ICC, ACP and CADB
Experience working with PCL
Confident user of Google Workspace
Fluent English; German is an advantage
What you bring
Experience within an Airbus Configuration Management environment is highly valuable for this position.
You are comfortable working with cabin configuration and customization topics, coordinating stakeholders and independently progressing studies through to validation.
Experience level
We are looking for someone with 2-5 years of aerospace experience, ideally gained within Airbus Configuration Management.
What is most important is that you are able to take ownership of assigned topics, investigate them independently, coordinate the necessary stakeholders and present clear, well-supported findings.
