Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in maintaining our financial integrity across diverse legal entities by managing end-to-end statutory reporting and compliance operations. As a trusted partner to external auditors and cross-functional teams, your work directly ensures our ongoing stability and operational excellence, supporting Iron Mountain's commitment to precision and trust. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Lead Statutory Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and completion of year-end statutory financial statements and disclosures under Local GAAP and IFRS across multiple legal entities.
Manage Audit Relationships: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating schedules, fulfilling audit requests, and resolving complex accounting issues.
Drive Legal Entity Controllership: Direct balance sheet reconciliations, statutory adjustments, and US GAAP/IFRS to Local GAAP reconciliations.
Ensure Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Direct local regulatory reporting and statistical filings while collaborating with tax teams on corporate income tax and indirect tax filings (VAT/GST).
Optimise Accounting Processes: Identify opportunities to automate statutory reporting workflows, standardise financial processes, and uphold robust internal controls.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years dedicated to statutory financial reporting and legal entity compliance.
Strong knowledge of Local GAAP, IFRS, and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Active professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
