Position Overview
This position is responsible for supporting projects, processes, and initiatives within the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) function. The intern will gain exposure to environmental, health, safety, and regulatory activities while assisting with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects that support organizational objectives.
This internship is based out of Maumee, OH. Housing may be provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a foundational understanding of EHS operations, programs, and business practices.
Support environmental, health, safety, and compliance-related projects and initiatives.
Assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support EHS programs and objectives.
Create and maintain reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documentation related to departmental initiatives.
Conduct research and summarize findings related to environmental, safety, regulatory, or operational topics.
Collaborate with team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Assist with process documentation, audits, inspections, training activities, and program administration as assigned.
Participate in special projects and initiatives that support departmental goals and priorities.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in EHS-related field, including Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
Sophomore standing required; junior standing strongly preferred
Willingness to travel regionally for business purposes
0-2 years’ relevant experience required
