Required Degree:
Master's Degree is required, preferably in a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Experience teaching Latin American topics.
Ability to create curriculum that is current and relevant to the changing cultural and political environment in Latin American countries.
Experience in adapting curriculum to meet specific audience needs.
Strong familiarity with the key concepts outlined in the approved course curriculum.
Duties/Expectations:
Prepare and teach all aspects of the course, including in-class lectures, assessments, and assignments.
Regular communication with the LAS Academic Program Director.
Meet all standards outlined for faculty at Brigham Young University.
Willingness to collaborate with coordinators and department chair of affiliated programs (including Spanish and Portuguese)
