Role Description The Software Engineer Intern will support the development of web and software solutions in a remote internship role. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing code, assisting in back-end web development tasks, and helping implement APIs and database integrations under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation and technical specifications. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software design, object-oriented programming, and version control while working on real project deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development.
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) and common development tools.
Understanding of databases, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
