Job Description:
· Develop, modify, and validate discrete-event simulation models for manufacturing, logistics, assembly lines, material flow, and supply chain processes.
· Work hands-on with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and similar simulation tools such as FlexSim to model production systems and operational scenarios.
· Use SimTalk 2.0 to create logic, controls, methods, and customized model behavior within simulation models.
· Analyze process performance, bottlenecks, resource utilization, throughput, cycle time, buffer requirements, and layout efficiency.
· Run what-if scenarios, capacity studies, failure models, and improvement simulations to support decision-making and process optimization.
· Prepare simulation reports, model documentation, dashboards, and presentations summarizing assumptions, inputs, results, and recommendations.
· Coordinate with manufacturing, industrial engineering, logistics, and project teams to collect input data and validate simulation outputs.
Required Skills:
· Good understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, material handling, logistics flow, and production planning concepts.
· Basic knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, process simulation, and supply chain modeling.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
· Ability to interpret process data, layouts, cycle times, routing information, and resource availability for model development..
