Electrical Design Engineer

Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects in Indore. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and specifications; selecting appropriate equipment and components; and ensuring designs comply with safety codes, regulations, and client standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors to support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. The engineer will also assist in preparing technical documentation, cost estimates, and proposals, while contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for commercial and industrial projects.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, including codes, standards, and safety practices.
Candidates should possess practical skills in Power Distribution, including load planning, panel scheduling, and system protection.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with CAD or electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar) and familiarity with relevant standards (IEC/IS or equivalent).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional stakeholders.
Prior experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects in an electrical engineering capacity is an advantage.
