Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test hardware systems and components used in manufacturing and packaging machinery, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency. Daily responsibilities include working on circuit design, creating and reviewing hardware schematics, selecting electronic components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, maintenance, and quality to support equipment performance and upgrades. The role involves troubleshooting hardware issues on the shop floor, optimizing existing hardware designs, documenting technical specifications, and assisting in the integration of new technologies into production lines. The Hardware Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support adherence to relevant industry and safety standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in hardware development and general hardware engineering, with practical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in circuit design, including schematic creation, PCB design review, and basic power and signal integrity considerations.
Experience in electronics hardware design, focusing on control systems, sensors, and actuators used in automated machinery.
Knowledge of computer hardware components and interfaces relevant to industrial control systems and embedded platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and industry standards; familiarity with CAD/EDA tools is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues on-site.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, maintenance, and vendor teams.
Understanding of safety practices and quality systems; experience in ISO-certified environments is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and support hands-on activities in manufacturing facilities.
