CANDIDATES WITH LESS THAN B2 ENGLISH WON'T BE CONSIDERED
UI/UX Designer — Children's Educational App Project (Remote, LatAm)
At HispaniCoders, we're building the team to develop a mobile/tablet language-learning app for young children, currently at MVP stage. We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to join from day one and help define the full product experience.
About the project:
An interactive app where kids explore a digital world at their own pace — every interaction (tapping, dragging, exploring) builds language skills. Friendly design, illustrated characters, built for tablets and phones.
What you'll do:
Design the app's full experience (wireframes, interactive prototypes, final UI) from scratch, working closely with the founding team (two pediatric speech-language pathologists).
Create a design system built for young children: simple touch interactions, clear visual hierarchy, accessibility.
Work closely with the mobile developers to make sure the design is technically feasible and gets implemented true to the vision.
Iterate the design based on testing with the real audience (children and their parents).
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) and, ideally, tablets.
Has worked on products for children's audiences, edtech, or accessibility-focused apps — not required, but a plus.
Is proficient with tools like Figma (required) and can deliver clickable prototypes, not just static mockups.
Has strong English communication skills, since the end client is English-speaking.
Can commit full-time for at least 3 months (with possibility of extension based on project progress).
Setup: Remote, full-time dedication.
Initial duration: 3 months (MVP), with possibility of continuity.
If this sounds like you, or you know someone who'd be a great fit, apply or reach out
