About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance our Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) platform. The engineer will work closely with Marketing, Product, Business Operations, and IT teams to develop, customize, integrate, and support enterprise marketing solutions built on HCL Unica and related technologies.
This role requires strong Java backend development experience, data integration expertise, SSIS/ETL development skills, SQL proficiency, and the ability to support complex enterprise applications that enable large-scale B2B and B2C marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and support customizations for HCL/IBM Unica Campaign and Unica Plan platforms.
Develop and maintain Java-based integrations, services, and automation solutions supporting marketing workflows.
Build and support ETL processes using SSIS and related data integration technologies.
Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and data processing jobs.
Develop and support REST and SOAP API integrations with internal and external enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Support platform upgrades, patching activities, and environment migrations.
Develop batch automation processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospective activities.
Create technical design documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support documentation.
Partner with external vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.
Provide on-call support for critical production applications as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.

3+ years of SSIS development experience.
Experience designing and supporting ETL and batch processing solutions.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
