React Software Engineering Internship

We're looking for a GTM engineer intern to help support a startup focused on building a cleaner, faster, and more user-friendly job search experience.
This is currently an unpaid, founding internship/contributor opportunity, as the platform is still pre-monetization and preparing for launch this week.
The platform pulls and structures job listings directly from employer hiring systems to reduce duplicate postings, outdated listings and unnecessary friction throughout the application process.
The startup's current goal is simple: build something genuinely useful for job seekers while creating a more transparent and thoughtfully designed search experience.
Areas You Could Help With:
Software Engineering: React/Next.js frontend, AI/ML stack, Python backend development, DevOps, Systems support
UI/UX & Product: Claude Design, Figma, interface improvements, mobile and web UX, usability feedback, feature planning, and user flows
GTM: Campus outreach, student club partnerships, and Reddit community growth.

You'll work directly with a founder who brings 17+ years of hands-on experience across recruiting, HR, talent acquisition, and people ops. Throughout her career, she has helped tech startups build teams, improve hiring processes, and navigate the challenges that come with scaling teams. Having worked closely with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and leadership teams for nearly two decades, she has a unique perspective on where the hiring process succeeds, and where it falls short.
This platform is being built from those firsthand experiences and observations. Contributors will have the opportunity to learn directly from someone who understands both the operational side of hiring and the realities of building products that solve real-world problems. For those interested in startups, recruiting technology, product development, or entrepreneurship, the experience and mentorship available through close collaboration with the founder can be just as valuable as the work itself.
