Grade 7/8 Teacher

The Grade 7/8 Teacher supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and cultural development by delivering instruction aligned with Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes. The Grade 7/8 Teacher contributes to a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful learning environment that promotes student well-being and success.
Key Responsibilities
The Teacher shall:
Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes
Integrate traditional ways of knowing
Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect diverse learning styles and needs
Assess, evaluate, and document student learning using a variety of methods
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reporting
Support the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Create a positive classroom environment that supports engagement and learning
Work collaboratively with Educational Assistants, specialists, and school staff
Integrate culturally relevant and inclusive practices where appropriate
Support student attendance, engagement, and overall well-being

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education
Valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate
Clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
First Aid/CPR certification (asset)
Clean Driver license/abstract (asset)
This competition will be closing on Oct 12th with interview to take place on Oct 15th.
