Clinical Pharmacist - Retail - Part Time

Position Details:
Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)
Shift: Part Time (8 hours/week)
Exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new retail pharmacy in collaboration with our clinic in Norman!
Overview:
Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, insures the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems through intervention with the physician. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication administration. Follows approved policies, procedures, protocols, regulatory standards, in executing job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School or College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
Preferred Experience: Previous retail experience.
Licensure: Requires a current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
