As a Material Planner / Production Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components necessary to meet production and customer requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve production challenges, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials to support manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do
Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting.
Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule.
Preparing purchase requests for components based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.

Maintaining integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics.
This will be an onsite role in our McKinney, TX facility.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or other relevant transferable skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations.
Experience with Wave track and in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
Experience with Special Program Access.
Experience managing a product line.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
