Here’s the Gist:
The Wafering Operations Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance of production equipment. The person in this role will provide leadership in maintaining production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. The person in this role will oversee a team of technicians that repair and maintain the production and test equipment. The person in this role will establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures. The person in this role will help manage training programs to ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures.
The person in this role, initially, will work a split-shift 12-hour manufacturing schedule.
The Day-to-Day:
Manage the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of semiconductor fabrication equipment
Interface with the Manufacturing Operations team on supporting daily production priorities based on bottlenecks and/or operational throughput goals
Screen and select candidates for the Equipment team to fulfill ramp and attrition requirements
Support and influence 5S methodology, ensuring the workplace is clean, uncluttered, safe and well organized to reduce waste and optimize productivity
Work closely with process engineering and production staff to improve overall quality metrics for the fab, SPC, Scrap, Rework, and cost reduction
This Job is Right for You if You Have:
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing field with equipment support/repair services.
Demonstrated technical understanding and previous experience in a leadership role required. Prior management experience (including military) is preferred, but not required.
Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment in fabrication is preferred.
Willing to work a 12-hour manufacturing shift.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
