Job Summary
At Farnell, we're looking for a Business Analyst to join our UK Distribution Centre team in Leeds.
This is a critical role within the operation, responsible for delivering the data, reporting and insights that help drive site performance. Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders, you'll analyse data from across the distribution centre to identify trends, measure performance and support decisions that improve quality, efficiency, productivity and cost.
This position has a direct impact on how our UK1 site operates. From supporting continuous improvement initiatives to developing dashboards and performance reporting, your work will help ensure we continue to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and performance metrics for the UK1 Distribution Centre
Collecting, analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Supporting operational leaders with data-driven decision making
Providing insight into service delivery, productivity, quality and cost performance
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Creating reporting tools and templates that improve visibility and operational effectiveness
Conducting analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
Communicating complex information in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders
Supporting business projects and operational change initiatives
Helping establish best practices for reporting, analysis and business processes
What About You?
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and passionate about using data to solve business challenges.
You'll ideally have:
A degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with data, reporting or business intelligence tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
The ability to present data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience within a logistics, warehouse, supply chain or distribution environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
