Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of architectural projects, working closely with senior team members to develop concepts, drawings, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design proposals, creating 2D and 3D drawings, assisting with construction details, and helping coordinate with consultants and vendors. The role also involves participating in site visits, recording measurements, monitoring progress, and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata, requiring regular collaboration with the in-house team and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of design drawings.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools and workflows, such as using design software and integrating drawings with project management systems.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including basic planning, task coordination, and support in tracking project deliverables.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) is beneficial.
A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a studio environment are important.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project setting will be highly valued.
