About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Game UI & Multimedia Designer to join our team working on a mobile-first realistic shooter built in Unreal Engine 5.
The main focus of this role is creating high-quality, visually impressive UI for a modern realistic shooter. You will design everything from HUDs and gameplay interfaces to menus, inventories, loadouts, matchmaking, mission screens and progression systems.
You will work closely with our game designers and Unreal developers, who will bring your designs into the game. You should therefore have a good understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and UMG, but this is primarily a visual design role — we are looking for someone whose strongest skill is creating exceptional game UI, rather than programming or technical implementation.
Alongside game UI, you will also create gameplay clips, trailers, motion graphics and promotional content using footage captured from the game.
What we are looking for
Strong professional experience in game UI design, ideally for shooters, action games or realistic games
A strong portfolio showing polished, modern HUDs and in-game UI
Excellent understanding of the visual language used in realistic and military-style games
Ability to design complete game interfaces, including HUDs, menus, inventories, loadouts, mission screens, progression systems and other gameplay UI
Strong UI/UX fundamentals, combining visual quality with readability and gameplay usability
Good understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and UMG, with the ability to prepare designs and assets for efficient implementation by our Unreal team
Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, Premiere or equivalent tools
Ability to create animated UI, motion graphics and UI transitions
Ability to capture and edit compelling gameplay footage, gameplay clips and trailers
Good understanding of cinematic editing, pacing, sound and presentation for game marketing content
Comfortable using AI tools for ideation, design exploration and content creation
Strong visual eye and exceptional attention to detail
Highly organized and systematic when managing source files, assets, versions and deliverables
Most important
We are looking for someone who can take a gameplay requirement, concept or rough wireframe and transform it into a visually outstanding, production-ready game UI.
Your portfolio should show UI that could belong in a high-quality modern shooter. We are not primarily looking for candidates whose experience is focused on websites, mobile apps or corporate interfaces.
