Logistics Coordinator

Make your mark as Logistics Coordinator for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. The Logistics Coordinator works as part of the Logistics team and is responsible for mobilization and demobilization for equipment or projects worldwide. They act as the interface between the project team (on and offshore), the vessel and our suppliers. They are responsible for all quayside activities and are required to manage the quayside in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
Your responsibilities as Logistics Coordinator:
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
To provide Logistics support to any vessel in the BSS fleet.
Act as conduit between onshore and offshore project team.
Responsible for all quayside activities.
Be the interface for Marine crew to ensure their requirements are captured for each port call.
Executing the shipment plan and keeping all parties updated of the status up to delivery.
Effective management of costs associated with the port call/shipment.
Local collections and deliveries.
Providing tendering with rates in relation to Logistics activities to support any tender submissions.
Preparing the shipment plan of the designated goods, vessels and equipment for projects and sites.
You can make your mark as Logistics Coordinator if you have:
Previous relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry for a wide range of goods and services, particularly within a subsea construction environment – minimum 3 years’ in a similar role.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Comprehensive skills in ICT Office applications and ERP system
Full, clean UK Driving License and flexibility with working hours.
Dangerous Goods by Air, Road and Sea experience and certificates, Forklift License and CILT qualification (desirable).

Where you will work: Your location will be the Aberdeen office.
Full/part- time job: The position of Logistics Coordinator is full time, 35 hours per week.
