Senior Product Associate, Merchant Experience - Offers & Shopping

Join Offers and Shopping within Connected Commerce and help build the platforms that connect merchants with Chase customers through relevant offers. You will turn complex business needs into scalable capabilities that improve targeting, rewards, and merchant experiences.
As a Senior Product Associate, Merchant Experience in Offers and Shopping, you own strategy and define requirements for the platforms and data services that power the offers business. You partner across stakeholders and work hands-on with engineering teams to deliver capabilities that improve transaction processing, offer targeting, rewards awarding, and merchant and campaign data services. You drive end-to-end delivery with strong execution discipline and a risk-and-controls mindset.

Be an expert on our business, the industry, and the customers we serve every day.
Help shape the product vision and roadmap for our core platforms, data services.
Collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders from various business functions to drive solutions forward.
Own delivery end to end with our engineering teams including dependency management.
Demonstrate a strong cross-functional leadership mindset to deliver new capabilities on time and fully tested.
Manage and maintain a robust risk and control environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience in product development, technology, or consulting, with exposure to rigorous and large-scale program and product management.
Demonstrated experience partnering with technology teams to translate product requirements into user stories, sizing estimates, and delivered capabilities.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., Jira and Jira Align), including backlog management, refinement, and sprint execution.
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability across multiple concurrent priorities working in a highly matrixed organization.
Ability to analyze complex data sets and use that analysis to make data-driven product decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present facts, thoughts, and ideas clearly, concisely, and convincingly to senior stakeholders and partners.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
Experience with backend platform or data products such as APIs, event streaming, data pipelines.
Experience designing or developing user-facing workflow tools.
Comfort engaging in technical discussions with engineers and architects about APIs, data flows, system dependencies, and trade-offs. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to hold your own in conversation and know when to ask the next question.
High-level knowledge of AWS data platforms and large-data technologies.
