Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
Ensure that all kitchenware is cleaned in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas.
Assist kitchen staff by promptly supplying clean utensils and equipment as needed.
Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and manage cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
Monitor dishwashing machines for proper functioning and report any malfunctions to maintenance.
Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries as directed by kitchen management.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen support role is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service.
Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchenware when necessary.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
