About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Lead a multi-skill creative pod of writers, designers, video editors, social media, digital marketing and web people, and make sure every piece of work that leaves the team is on brief, on brand and on time.

The team you'll lead
You'll be responsible for the output, training and discipline of these roles: Content Writer, Digital Marketing Assistant, Graphic Designer, Social Media Assistant, Video Editor and Web Developer. You don't need to be the best at every one of them. You do need to know each craft well enough to brief it properly, spot weak work instantly, explain exactly what to fix and, in at least two of these areas, do the work yourself at a Senior level or above.
What you'll do
Lead the team
Allocate daily and weekly work across the pod based on skill, capacity and client priority
Run a short daily stand-up and a weekly review; keep a live tracker of every task, owner and deadline
Coach each team member with specific, written feedback; run monthly one-on-ones
Hold the team to attendance, shift discipline and active-availability rules, and act on issues early
Train new joiners on tools, brand guidelines and client SOPs; build their skills month on month
Own the quality
Review every deliverable before it reaches a client: blogs, ad copy, designs, reels, videos, landing pages and site changes
Maintain brand guidelines, style guides, templates and checklists for each client
Write and keep current the SOPs for every role in the pod
Track revision rates and fix the root cause, not just the file
Plan and deliver
Turn client goals into monthly content calendars, campaign plans and production schedules
Write clear creative briefs that a Junior can execute without guessing
Coordinate cross-role work, for example a campaign that needs copy, design, video, landing page and ads together
Report monthly on output, deadlines met, campaign results and team performance
Work with clients
Be the first point of contact for creative and digital work on your accounts
Join client calls, present work, take feedback and translate it into tasks for the team
Handle escalations calmly and fix them without pushing them upward
Suggest improvements proactively: new formats, better funnels, faster workflows
What you need to know
You must have working knowledge across all six areas, and hands-on depth in at least two.
Content: SEO writing, keyword research, on-page SEO, blog structure, web and ad copywriting, editing for tone and grammar
Digital marketing: Meta Ads and Google Ads basics, email marketing (Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns or similar), GA4, UTM tracking, reading campaign data
Design: Visual hierarchy, typography, brand consistency, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and Canva
Social media: Content calendars, platform formats and trends, scheduling tools, community engagement, reporting
Video: Editing flow, pacing, hooks for short-form, captions, basic colour and audio; Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut
Web: WordPress, Elementor or similar builders, Shopify basics, HTML/CSS fundamentals, site speed and landing page best practice
Tools: Project trackers (ClickUp, Asana, Trello or similar), Google Workspace, and AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot used responsibly within approved workflows
How you're measured
On-time delivery on 95% or more of the pod's work
First-pass client approval rate and falling revision count
Client QA score of 4.5 / 5 or higher across your accounts
Team attendance, discipline and retention
SOPs, brand guides and templates written and kept current
Training delivered and measurable skill growth in the team
Assessment for this role (about 60 minutes)
Typing and listening: the same as every role
Review task: you'll get a flawed blog post, social design, short video cut and landing page. Write specific feedback on each as you would to your team
Planning task: build a one-month content and campaign plan for a sample client and assign it across a 7-person pod
Brief task: write one creative brief a Junior designer or editor could execute without questions
Video intro: three questions on camera, including how you handled a difficult team situation
Home setup check: laptop, internet, power, workspace photo
Every day, in every role
Log in on time for every scheduled shift and stay reachable throughout
Keep accurate records in client and company systems
Protect client and company data: no personal devices, drives, email or AI tools unless approved
Attend training, QA reviews and office days when scheduled
Report internet, power or device problems immediately and use the backup
What we offer
Fixed, published CTC by level: the same for everyone, no negotiation, no favouritism
A real team to build, with clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia since 2017
A path beyond Team Leader into Team Manager and Delivery Manager for people who prove themselves
Structured onboarding, client training and AI-workflow training
Office days with the team in Mumbai–Thane; remote days from home
Work setup
Same as the design, video and developer roles: i5 (10th gen) / Ryzen 5 or better, 16 GB RAM recommended, 256 GB SSD, 1080p webcam, noise-cancelling headset, second monitor recommended for this role, 25 Mbps broadband with a tested backup, 2+ hours power backup, and a silent dedicated room with a clean video background.
Fixed terms
CTC per level as published above, not negotiable
Probation 6 months (extendable once); confirmation in writing only
Notice period 90 days after confirmation
2 office days a week + whenever called; one required office day missed without prior written approval ends the role
All days are working days; any day not worked is unpaid unless approved leave applies
