The Role
We are seeking a Security Supervisor / Security Coordinator / Security Operations Supervisor to support security operations, coordination, incident management, and day-to-day security planning. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to an experienced professional who can coordinate teams, monitor security activities, maintain clear documentation, and respond effectively to operational issues. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and relevant service providers to support consistent security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily security activities and operational priorities across assigned functions.
Support security planning, scheduling, procedures, and operational readiness.
Monitor reported incidents, security concerns, and operational exceptions.
Coordinate appropriate responses and follow-up actions for security-related issues.
Provide guidance and supervision to security personnel and support teams.
Maintain accurate incident reports, security records, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate with facilities, operations, management, and external security providers.
Review security procedures and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Support access-control, emergency preparedness, and business continuity activities where applicable.
Provide management with regular security updates, observations, and recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Security Management, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in security operations, supervision, facilities, or a related environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of security procedures, operational coordination, and incident management.
Knowledge of access management, security reporting, emergency procedures, and risk awareness.
Familiarity with security planning, personnel coordination, and operational documentation.
Proficiency in preparing clear reports and maintaining accurate security records.
Ability to assess situations calmly and coordinate practical responses.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with distributed teams.
High level of professionalism, discretion, reliability, and attention to detail.
