Job Purpose
We are looking for a Volvo Production System (VPS) expert who is passionate about coaching and inspiring others to continuously improve how we work and build future-ready capabilities.
You will use your strong knowledge of VPS tools and methodologies to coach and support our plant and teams, enabling sustainable performance improvements.
With a clear end-to-end mindset, you will help define, connect, and optimize value streams in a dynamic, international environment.
What you will do?
Support Hoskote plant through VPS coaching and deployment of VPS methodologies.
Plan and perform learning sessions and competence development related to the VPS and VPS self-assessments
Drive, coach and promote continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen initiatives.
Lead value stream mapping (VSM) activities to optimize flows with an end-to-end perspective.
Provide targeted VPS support for the implementation of the Industrial projects.
Lead and foster networks of subject matter VPS experts to share expertise, deploy best practices, and accelerate organizational learning. Perform VPS cross functional internal assessments.
Facilitate the identification and resolution of critical business and operational issues, ensuring data-driven root cause analysis and sustained performance improvements.

Bring relevant academic background or equivalent hands-on experience
Deep understanding of Production System / Lean Manufacturing.
Expert in Lean Tools: 6 Sigma, VSM, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM, Jidoka.
Strong coaching, facilitation, and change management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Data driven - Problem solving, analytical mindset.
Proficient in MS Office, Power BI (preferred).
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring 5+ years of experience deploying VPS across the VPS House and the 10 Focus Areas, combined with solid operational experience and strong leadership skills. You will work closely with local management teams and play a key role in the Regional VPS team.
You will report to the Head of Quality and VPS.
