What We Do
The Epic Trust and Safety team provides a safer experience for Epic users. We work across multiple products and services to improve technology and craft transparent policies so our players and users can have positive experiences on our platforms.
What You'll Do
FamXP, the Family Experience team within Trust, Safety, and Support, is responsible for the safety, privacy, and age-appropriate experience of kids and families across Epic's products. We ship features for kids and parents, review product updates across the company for safety and privacy considerations, collaborate with legal to translate regulatory requirements to an actionable product roadmap, and provide insights to our partner teams grounded in primary research we conduct with parents and players. This Product Management Director role will own complex, cross-product initiatives on the FamXP roadmap, set priorities for the FamXP team, and set the standard for how the FamXP product team operates.
In this role, you will
Drive FamXP initiatives from strategy through design, build, and launch, in partnership with engineering, QA, design, legal, policy, and analytics counterparts across multiple Epic product surfaces
Keep priorities clear, dependencies visible, and teams moving on what matters most
Develop and communicate FamXP strategy to the executive audience
Define metrics that matter, strengthen instrumentation where the signal is weak, and guide the team to ground decisions in data
Navigate a fast-evolving global regulatory landscape, partnering closely with legal and policy to translate new obligations into product deliverables (often on tight timelines)
What we're looking for
6+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning complex, cross-product, or platform initiatives
Direct, hands-on experience partnering with legal, regulatory, or compliance teams, ideally in a regulated industry
Structured thinker who can bring clarity and momentum to an ambiguous problem space
Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable representing strategy and trade-offs to executive stakeholders
Quantitative thinker who drives visibility into product performance and pushes to improve signal when it's lacking
User-centric mindset, comfortable balancing the needs of players and parents with business goals and regulatory considerations
Technically fluent
Collaborative team member who builds trust through transparency, accountability, and follow-through
Adaptable and resilient in an environment where priorities evolve quickly
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).
Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
New York City Base Pay Range
$251,441—$368,779 USD
California Base Pay Range
$230,487—$338,048 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$209,534—$307,316 USD
