Role Description The Credit Manager role at AU SMALL FINANCE BANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi. The Credit Manager will oversee the assessment, approval, and monitoring of credit proposals, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, analyzing financial statements and cash flows, and determining appropriate credit limits and structures. The role involves managing credit risk by tracking portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals, and recommending corrective actions where necessary. The Credit Manager will collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to support business growth while maintaining a high-quality credit portfolio, prepare reports and documentation for internal reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes and risk frameworks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit, with experience in evaluating and structuring credit proposals.
Candidates should possess Credit Risk Management and Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and assess portfolio performance.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Finance, with knowledge of lending products, financial statements, and regulatory norms.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
Strong decision-making abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Excel and credit assessment tools.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Prior experience in banking or financial services credit roles, particularly in retail or SME segments, is highly beneficial.
