What is the team working on?
The person will be responsible for the MV-SIPN network designs which is a high availability, reliability, and secure network. He will be ensuring the correct capacity, resilience, and functionality. Validating that the Network Provider services it uses are adequately resilient and diverse. Managing the lifecycle of supported hardware (Cisco and Juniper) and software, and bug and vulnerability analysis/fix. Always taking account of future-proofness, supportability, implementation, risk, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to or participate in the strategic analysis of architecture improvements, models and new products. These analyses will be conducted in close liaison with architects, the marketing division, customers, management and third-party suppliers.
Participate in the production of architecture approaches/designs for small to medium size/complexity/risk projects.
Provide expert technical assistance during design activities and to resolve issues ensuring design adherence.
Participate in multi disciplinary project teams to provide expert knowledge. Lead small to medium size/complexity/risk design reviews.
Participate in reviews with customers and third-party suppliers on design. Access external research information by developing and maintaining advanced level technical contacts.
Maintain knowledge of architecture technologies and future industry trends.
