Required Shift:
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible pending business needs)
Description of Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in a fast paced, high production environment. Key responsibilities may include troubleshooting and servicing advanced pneumatic systems, basic hydraulic systems, AC/DC electrical systems, welding, fabrication, automation (PLC and instrumentation), machining, and mechanical systems across all process and packing equipment.

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ years’ work experience related to industrial maintenance
Experience in Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills and/or fabrication
Possess a fundamental understanding of Electrical systems and troubleshooting, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings
Willingness to develop required technical skills
Proficient with computers software’s included MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology
Technical/Trade Certification in: Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills, fabrication and blueprint interpretation
Possess an advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problems
Possess PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs.).
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/twisting/stooping.
Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
Able to work in confined spaces
Ability to read, write and understand English
What will be your key responsibilities?
Troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
Advanced Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Automation, Machining, and Mechanical Systems on all Process and Packaging Equipment (willing to train)
Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM's) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment
Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities
Accurately document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance)
Active Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams, training fellow Technicians/Operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities to include conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA’s)
Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements related to supporting machinery uptime
Perform any adhoc requests as assigned
