Our Connected Aviation group is thrilled to offer a Lab Technician role within our Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) team in Marlborough, MA. As part of the ATS team, you'll be instrumental in developing the next generation of the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and supporting our existing fielded systems. What You Will Do:
The Air Traffic Systems (ATS) Programs are seeking a lab technician to assist in the efficient operation and management of all associated ATS Labs. The lab Technician will work closely with the Lab manager, Program Office, Property Control, and engineering teams to ensure seamless lab operations, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement of lab procedures. The technician will provide ongoing lab support, including cleaning and vacuuming labs for audits and assisting with installations. Responsibilities include replacing equipment, implementing SSBs, building and configuring hardware racks, updating inventory, installing patch panels, and mentoring team members on network configurations and lab procedures. The technician will also set up and configure various network devices, support software tests, and prepare labs for audits.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree
Three (3) years of experience in a lab environment.
Strong organizational skills
Experience with lab equipment and maintenance
Knowledge of compliance and quality assurance standards
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage inventory and track lab materials
Familiarity with network configurations and lab procedures.
Able to lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to communicate with vendors and STARS/ATS site personnel with little direction.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
