Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the LS Digital team. This role is responsible for developing architecture, transformations, analyses, and visualizations for W&B Carbon process, product, and performance data.
What You Will Do:
Partners with Carbon engineering and Carbon manufacturing teams to identify digital use cases and develop a project roadmap
Develops code within Databricks to transform, analyze, and visualize carbon data to support RCCA investigations and other use cases
Acts as a carbon data steward helping the Collins Data Quality and Governance teams develop rulesets for data governance
Partners with the other LS Digital teams to build or leverage lifecycle data applications, the digital thread, digital design processes, and other W&B data analytics methods
Responsible for identifying data gaps and leveraging CORE processes and tools to identify opportunities for CI where possible
Attends daily tag-ups and participates in the Agile project management process using tools like Jira, Confluence, and others as needed
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience in aircraft W&B engineering with knowledge of C-C manufacturing
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with carbon manufacturing processes
Experience in Data Science or Statistics or Engineering
Python experience
SQL querying experience
Experience with graph databases, sematic layers, and data ontologies
Experience with Git or similar software revision control best practices
Understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from concept to delivery
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
